The family of Ikran Tahlil has rejected the commission that President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo appointed to investigate her disappearance and death.
Farmaajo appointed the five-member commission on September 13.
However, later in the day the family of the slain National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) officer, said that they have no confidence in the Farmaajo commission.
Qali Mohamud Guhad, the slain agent’s mother, led her family in rejecting the commission during an interview with the media on Monday.
She said that her family only has confidence with the investigation that Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble ordered.
The Prime Minister directed the military to launch investigations into Tahlil’s death.
