Residents of central Somalia are full of fear after a fresh round of fighting broke out between the Somali National Army (SNA) and Al-Shabaab.
The conflict between both sides broke out on Thursday morning.
Sources and witnesses added that the clashes were at a village known as Aag Sibiri. The village is in Farlibah town.
The fighting started when the militants attacked an army post.
Security personnel repulsed the attack leading to clashes that lasted several hours.
It is not clear whether any soldier, civilian, or Al-Shabaab militant was either killed or injured in the intense clashes.
