Three Civilians Injured in a Mogadishu in Shooting Attack Involving District Official

Three civilians in Mogadishu were injured during a shooting that involved a local district official.

The shooting incident took place on October 15.

Sources revealed that the district official was involved in the shooting incident in Kahda District, which is to the west of Mogadishu.

Local media identified Abdi-Wadud Sheikh Mohamed Ma’alow as the district official involved in the incident.

Ma’alow shot three civilians.

The civilians sustained life-threatening injuries for which they were rushed to hospital for medical treatment.

It’s not clear why the official shot at the civilians.

Security officers later caught and arrested him in Dharkenley, a nearby district.
