Three more members of the Somaliland Electoral Commission (SEC) tendered their resignation from the polls body.
The three had been the only remaining SEC commissioners.
Earlier, four of their colleagues, including the Chairperson, had resigned.
The resignations have been the result of the widely reported dispute between all the seven SEC commissioners.
Those who finally joined their colleagues in resigning are Abdihakim Said Dalmar, Abdirahman Mohamed Dihood, and Kaltuun Sheikh Hassan Abdi.
The timing of their resignations is quite interesting.
Somaliland is scheduled to hold presidential elections in October-November 2022.
