The Turkish International Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) provided health screenings for a number of Somali individuals living with albinism.
TIKA provided the screenings on Wednesday in Mogadishu.
Somalis with albinism visited Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Training and Research Hospital where the screenings were offered.
They received a variety of products to help make their lives as comfortable as possible.
These included sunscreens and sunglasses. The Turkish organization also provided clothing to the participants to demonstrate its continued support for the albino community in Somalia.
