The Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) has launched the tender for the Voter Registration System.
TPEC launched the bidding process on Monday, November 16.
Representatives from local and international organizations attended the ceremony that TPEC organized to invite bids for the Voter Registration System.
A few of these organizations include PUNSAA and the Danish Embassy in Somalia.
TPEC announced that SAHAN and InterPeace would be in the Tender Evaluation Committee.
The electoral commission is expected to announce the winning bidder once its commissioners evaluate the bids jointly with experts from international organizations.
Puntland is scheduled to hold local elections simultaneously with the rest of the country in December 2020.
