Transitional Puntland Electoral Commission (TPEC) is to start training its staff on Voter Registration exercise.
Puntland is scheduled to hold elections in December 2020 along with the rest of the country.
To this end, TPEC has been preparing for the polls through various activities.
It announced plans to train its workers on how to use the Voter Registration System.
Furthermore, the regional polls body announced that it would be training personnel on Early Local Government Elections (ELGE).
The polls organization made this announcement in an official communiqué for October 2020.
Moreover, the organization is to developed comprehensive training manuals for all its personnel to improve their awareness of and ability to implement the relevant rules.
