Somaliland’s Ministry of Transport and Road Development has officially opened the latest Vehicle and Safety Inspection Center.
Alnafaara and Dhoore Group jointly own the center, which is in Burao Town.
Abdillahi Abokor Osman, the Minister of Transport and Road Development, was at the event where the center was officially launched.
Several dignitaries attended the event too and these included officials from the transport ministry as well as regional and district administrators.
Intellectuals, local leaders, businesspeople, and community leaders graced the event with their presence to celebrate a historic moment for Burao town.
Basha Dhoore, one of the facility’s co-owners, assured customers in Burao town that their they have the technology for testing each vehicle’s mechanical and performance systems.
He also assured them that each car that passes the rigorous tests would then be issued with a vehicle test certificate that is valid for one year.
