Somalia’s National Center for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism (TUBSAN) held an event to celebrate the International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism.
TUBSAN held the event on Monday in Mogadishu.
Several top government officials, including cabinet ministers and legislators, were at the event.
Globally, the event takes place to create or increase awareness of the threats that violent extremism poses to people and communities around the world.
