The Turkish government has condemned the terror attack carried out at Afrik Hotel in Mogadishu on January 31.
On Sunday, a terror attack at the popular hotel caused the deaths of 9 people.
Ex-military commander, General Mohamed Nur Galal was among the nine people who lost their lives in the Sunday evening attack.
On Monday, Turkey issued a press statement “condemning the heinous attack in the strongest terms possible.”
The Turkish government promised to continue standing by the people and government of Somalia, especially in the fight against terrorism.
Four heavily armed militants belonging to Al-Shabaab group carried out the deadly attack at the hotel, which is near Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
