Turkey has donated military vehicles to the Somali National Army (SNA).
Abdulkadir Mohamed Nur, the Minister of Defense, received the vehicles on behalf of Somalia’s armed forces.
Ibrahim Mete Yagli, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, handed over the vehicles.
The defense minister expressed gratitude to the people and government of Turkey for extending continued support to Somalia.
Gorgor, a unit of elite armed forces, will have sole custody of the vehicles.
