The Turkish government has sent specialist doctors and medical assistance to Somalia for victims of the recent terror attack.
The doctors and the medication arrived in Mogadishu this week.
The plane that brought the personnel and medication then lifted returned to Turkey with four Somalis injured in the October 29 attack at Mogadishu’s K-5 Junction.
All four were airlifted aboard an ambulance plane on Wednesday, November 2.
Turkish Ministry of Health sent the ambulance plane.
Turkey responded to an appeal by President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia for specialized medics and medication from the international community.
