Turkish parliamentarians are to vote on whether to extend the mission of its naval forces based off the coast of Somalia.
Parliamentarians in the European nation will vote on the matter this week.
They will either approve or disapprove plans to extend the mandate of the naval forces offshore and off the coast of Somalia by another year.
Turkey is one of Somalia’s most trusted international allies militarily and economically.
