Turkey has volunteered to intervene in the ongoing electoral impasse in Somalia.
The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the European nation’s intentions in Somalia.
Turkey is one of Somalia’s most important international partners.
Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Turkish foreign affairs minister, indicated that his nation is ready to support Somalia to resolve all pending electoral issues.
The foreign affairs minister also highlighted his government’s plans to bring all the parties together to discuss and resolve their differences.
Cavusoglu indicated that he would be traveling to Somalia soon to launch his talks with the concerned parties.
