The Turkish Ambassador to Somalia visited the Speaker of the Senate (Upper House) in Mogadishu on Thursday.
Speaker Abdi Hashi Abdullahi received the Turkish Ambassador Mehmet Yilmaz in his office on May 26.
Ambassador Yilmaz congratulated Speaker Hashi for winning the recent elections for the leadership of the Upper House.
Additionally, they spoke of how Somalia and Turkey could improve diplomatic relations between them.
