Turkish citizens are mourning the deaths of loved ones killed in a recent terror attack in Somalia.
Several Turkish engineers and workers were part of a team working on the construction of the Mogadishu-Afgoye Road when Al-Shabaab militants attacked them.
Two Turkish citizens lost their lives in the attack.
The two Turkish workers killed in the attack were identified as Erdinc Genc and Selami Aydogdu.
Genc’s wife said the incident had left the entire family in shock. She said that Genc worked in an area that was secured by security guards.
Aydogdu, who is aged 22 years, only got married six months ago.
He was in Mogadishu together with his father, Omer, who received serious injuries. Omer is currently in hospital receiving treatment.
