A Turkish delegation visited the leader of one of Somalia’s regional states on Friday.
The delegation spent time with Southwest State’s President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen in Baidoa on July 8.
During their visit, the Turkish nationals promised to help residents of the Southwest State made vulnerable by the ongoing drought.
They will start with vulnerable families in Baidoa, the administrative capital of the state.
The meeting between President Laftagareen and the Turkish nationals took place at the Southwest State Presidential Palace.
