The Turkish Red Crescent will help to build a new blood storage facility in Somalia.
Officials from the Turkish Red Crescent confirmed this during their meeting with a team from the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA).
The Turkish team was under the leadership of Niyazi Kalayci.
The SODMA delegation was under Mahamuud Moallim’s leadership.
Kalayci is the new Director of the Turkish Red Crescent in Somalia while Moallim is the SODMA Commissioner.
They also agreed on the need to train Somali workers at emergency centers around the country.
