Kenyan authorities arrested 12 Somali nationals in the northern county of Garissa for being in the country without valid identification papers.
The Somalis were arrested on Saturday morning.
At the time of their arrest, the Somali nationals, who are all men, were traveling in a Land Cruiser that belongs to the Garissa County government.
Furthermore, authorities discovered that the vehicle had either a fake or a stolen Government of Kenya (GK) number plate.
Consequently, the Somalis are expected to remain in custody until Monday when they would be presented in court.
