Twenty people have reportedly died from the ongoing Bardhere floods.
Reports from local authorities and eyewitnesses indicate that 20 people have lost their lives thus far.
Bardhere, a district in the Gedo region, has felt the effects of the raging floods for quite some days.
Several houses are also submerged.
The federal and regional governments are working closely with partners to address the emerging humanitarian crisis.
Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) has already called for a meeting on the issue.
