Two children died in Sanaag after a snake bit them in Sanaag Province’s Xingalol District.
Yusuf Farah Said, the District Commissioner for Xiangol, confirmed this unfortunate incident yesterday.
According to Said, the two children, who are 5 years and 6 years old, were asleep a bit far from their homes when they were bitten by the poisonous snake.
Further, the District Commissioner said they were brought to the hospital for medical attention where medical personnel confirmed that they were already dead.
Consequently, locals tracked the snake and killed it.
Afterward, the two children were then laid to rest.
