Two Local Officials Killed in Mogadishu Roadside Explosion

Two local officials were among four people who were killed in a roadside in Mogadishu on January 19.

The officials were killed when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasted the quiet of the capital city on Tuesday.

Ali Mohamed Moalin, the Deputy District Chairman of Garasbaley, was killed together with Abdirashid Dubad, a youth activist.

Dubad is a former journalist.

They were killed when the IED hit their vehicle. The others who died in the incident were the driver of the vehicle and a bodyguard.
