Two people died after unidentified gunmen in central Somalia shot them on Tuesday, August 17.
Security sources from the region indicate that Rahma Hirey and Galad Hassan Siyad lost their lives in Ba’ada village, Mataban district.
According to sources, the two people died as a result of clan wars.
Local authorities are yet to comment on an incident that left the entire village in shock and fear because of worsening insecurity.
Residents of this village in Hiiran region confirmed that they have been victims of deadly clan clashes in recent times.
