Two Somaliland journalists who have been in prison since April 2022 are now free men.
Somaliland authorities released the two journalists on Saturday, July 2 after weeks of keeping them behind bars.
The Human Rights Center Somaliland broke the news of their release yesterday.
According to the Human Rights Center, the two journalists had been in a Hargeisa prison for the last three months.
The journalists are Abdijabbar Mohammed and Mohammed Ilig.
