The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has established a force of thousands of soldiers for operations in Somalia and Yemen.
Reports from the UAE show that the 3,000-strong elite military unit has been set up for operations in the two nations.
According to sources, the unit is to be known as Emirati Foreign Legion.
Mostly, it will comprise foreign recruits.
The news regarding the establishment of the elite military unit broke on Tuesday.
