The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has appointed a new Ambassador to Somalia.
UAE announced the appointment of Ahmad Juma Al Rumaithi as its new Ambassador to Somalia on Wednesday, September 22.
Ambassador Rumaithi will take over from the current diplomat, Mohamed Ahmed Al-Othman.
The Asian nation announced the change as part of the broader diplomatic shakeup it has been carrying out in recent times.
Other nations where UAE now has new ambassadors include India, Germany, and Bangladesh.
The changes have also affected Finland, Ireland, Nepal, Poland, Georgia, Costa Rica, Yemen, Jordan, and Poland.
