The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has signed a deal to dig wells in Somalia.
Mahamuud Moallim, the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner, signed an agreement on this regard with Ahmed Al-Rumaithi.
Al-Rumaithi is the UAE Ambassador to Somalia.
Together with Jama Taqal Abbas, Moallim signed the important deal with Al-Rumaithi on Saturday.
They were at the UAE Embassy in Mogadishu.
Specifically, they agreed that UAE would dig wells in regions liberated from the Al-Shabaab terrorists in ongoing operations.
