The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has pledged support towards all drought response and development projects in Somalia.
This emerged following a meeting between Mahamuud Moallim, the Commissioner of the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA), and the UAE Ambassador to Somalia.
Moallim held discussions with Ambassador Ahmed Juma Al-Rumaysi in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
They discussed wide-ranging issues including the role that UAE could play to help Somalia’s drought response measures and various development projects.
