President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya has congratulated the newly-elected President of Somalia.
The Kenyan leader sent a message of congratulations to President-Elect Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of Somalia.
Mohamud emerged victorious in elections held in Mogadishu on Sunday, May 15.
President Kenyatta wished Mohamud “good health and success” as he embarks upon the task of rebuilding Somalia.
Kenyatta assured Mohamud of Kenya’s continued cooperation and comradeship.
