The plane crash took place at an airport in Beledweyne.
Local authorities have rushed to the scene to secure it and embark on investigations.
Nevertheless, the cause of the plane crash remains unknown.
Moreover, the number of casualties and the exact type of cargo it was carrying is unknown too.
Authorities are yet to comment on the incident, though.
