The United Nations is interested in cooperating with Galmudug to build the regional state.
Catriona Laing, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) of the United Nations, offered this assurance on Saturday.
Ambassador Laing met with Galmudug’s President Ahmed Abdi Karie Qoorqoor.
Apart from UN support, Amb. Laing and President Qoorqoor discussed many other issues pertaining to the regional state.
These included security and elections in the region.
