United Nations (UN) Habitat has signed a sustainable urbanization deal with Somalia.
Abdisalam Abdi Ali Dhay, the Minister of Public Works, Reconstruction and Housing, signed the deal on behalf of Somalia while Oumar Sylla signed for UN-Habitat.
Sylla is the Head of UN-Habitat in Africa.
The agreement allows UN-Habitat and Somalia to promote sustainable urbanization in the East African nation.
According to the minister, the deal would play a huge role in the reconstruction and development of Somalia.
