The United Nations has assured Somalia of its commitment to the security of the country.
George Conway, UN Deputy Special Representative to Somalia, offered this assurance when he held talks with Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre.
Conway and the Prime Minister met in Mogadishu on Wednesday.
They discussed security, economy, and politics. Discussions on ways of helping newly liberated areas also featured prominently in their talks.
Barre asked the UN for more support to fight Al-Shabaab terrorists around the country.
