The United Nations supports the pursuit and realization of Universal Declaration of Human Rights in Somalia.
Catriona Laing, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the UN, offered this assurance on Sunday.
Speaking during the International Human Rights Day, Laing asserted that the UN would remain solely behind Somalia’s quest for realization of universal human rights.
She highlighted the crucial stage of human rights development that Somalia finds itself in today.
