The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has delivered 19 metric tons of medicine and medical supplies to flood victims in Dollow.
UNICEF personnel teamed up with the regional government to deliver the supplies to victims of the floods that continue to devastate Dollow residents.
They worked closely with officials from the United Kingdom Embassy in Mogadishu as well as the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO).
Ongoing floods from the El Nino rains have displaced tons of people in Dollow from their homes thus forcing them into camps for internally displaced persons (IDPs).
