The new United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Representative to Somalia has submitted her credentials to the country’s Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Ms. Wafaa ElFadil Saeed Abdelatef submitted her credentials to Balal Mohamed Cusman on Sunday, June 19.
She submitted her credentials to the Cusman in a colorful ceremony that took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Mogadishu.
During the ceremony, Ms. Abdelatef discussed her goal and hopes of strengthening collaboration and partnership between UNICEF and Somalia.
