The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has promised to help HirShabelle to reduce education gaps in the region.
UNICEF made the vow when its topmost official traveled to Beletweyne for discussions with Mohamed Mohamud.
Wafaa ElFadil Saeed Abdelatef, the UNICEF Somalia Representative, discussed education gaps with Mohamud, the HirShabelle Minister of Education.
Saeed and Mohamud also discussed the priorities of the education ministry as well as prospective areas of collaboration.
