The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has vowed to increase the support it gives the Ministry of Health of the regional state of Jubbaland.
Nejmudin Bilal, the UNICEF Deputy Representative for Somalia, offered this assurance during a meeting with Mohamed Ogle.
Ogle is Jubbaland’s Minister of Health.
Bilal and Ogle met in Kismayo on Tuesday.
Ogle briefed the UNICEF Deputy Representative for Somalia on the key tasks that the health ministry has prioritized in Jubbaland.
On his part, Bilal assured Ogle of UNICEF’s support for the ministry’s projects in the region.
