A delegation from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) has visited Somaliland’s Minister of Investment and Industry.
The UNIDO team visited Abdillahi Abdirahman Aare, Somaliland’s investment and industry minister.
Aare was in the company of Mohamed Osman Saeed Somali, the Director-General in the investment and industry minister.
Fuad Rashid Buulo, the Director for Industrial Development, attended the meeting too.
Ygor Scarcia led the UNIDO delegation to the July 2 meeting. Scarcia is the Head of UNIDO’s Office for Somalia and Somaliland.
The UNIDO team promised to assist Somaliland to develop its investment opportunities and establish industries.
UNIDO was sending a delegation to visit Somaliland and meet with government officials for the first time.
