The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) will help construct a new courthouse in Bosaso.
On Thursday, officers from UNOPS took part in a brief ceremony held to lay the foundation for the new courthouse.
The construction will kick off immediately.
UNOPS confirmed that it would undertake the project jointly with the European Union.
Puntland’s Ministry of Justice and other partners will be involved in the courthouse’s construction too.
