Adam Abdelmoula, the Deputy Special Representative of the UN Secretary General, has commended Somalia for its “upward trajectory.”
Abdelmoula made these sentiments on October 3 after a meeting held with the Gamal M. Hassan, Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development.
Several senior officials from the planning ministry also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Abdelmoula and Gamal discussed the best pathways for UN in Somalia to support the development efforts of the Federal Government of Somalia.
Abdelmoula said that the spirit of partnership in the East African country coupled with its upward trajectory had filled him with immense pride and encouragement.
