The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has to lift the arms embargo imposed on Somalia over three decades ago.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud issued this plea when he addressed the UNSC session on Somalia on Thursday.
In his address, the Somali President appealed for a complete rather than partial lifting of the arms embargo.
