The United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM) condemned the suicide bomb attack that killed seven people in Mogadishu on September 25.
UNSOM issued a statement later on Saturday speaking out against the attack, which took place near the entrance to Villa Somalia, which hosts the Office of the President.
Seven people, including a mother and her two children, lost their lives in the suicide vehicle-based improvised explosive device (SVBIED).
A female officer at the Office of the Prime Minister’s Women Affairs unit also lost her life in the incident.
In its statement, UNSOM extended its condolences to the families of the people who lost their lives in the attack while wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
The organization also vowed to continue standing with all Somalis against such heinous acts.
