The United States and the United Kingdom are ready to work together to empower young women in Somalia.
Officials from the US and UK embassies in Mogadishu held discussions on Wednesday and agreed on this.
Thus far, the collaboration between the UK and the US has helped 10,616 young girls to benefit from non-formal education.
Specifically, most of the beneficiaries have been in HirShabelle, Southwest, and Banadir.
They have fostered literacy and numeracy as well as essential life skills that are essential to leading a successful life.
