The United States has offered a reward of $5 million for information on the whereabouts of the deputy leader of Al-Shabaab.
The US Department of State announced the reward on Friday.
As per the announcement, the State Department announced that it would reward anyone who provided information leading to the arrest of Abukar Ali Adan.
In 2018, the State Department termed Adan a Specially Designated Global Terrorist (SDGT), according to the Rewards for Justice Program.
