The United States has placed a bounty of $5 million on the head of the leader of the Al-Shabaab militia group.
Rewards for Justice (RFJ) of the US State Department issued the bounty on February 28.
The reward is for anyone with information that leads to the apprehension of Ali Mohamed Rage.
While publishing details on the reward, RFJ added that Rage has been responsible for the deaths of thousands of people in East Africa.
