The United States has assured Somalia of increased support to Somalis interested in training in fields such as justice, equality, and rule of law.
This emerged on Saturday, September 10 when a team from the US Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) visited Mogadishu.
The US Dept. of State INL team met with Somali Attorney-General Sulayman Mohamoud.
During their meeting, they discussed the upcoming training and assistance programs in the East African nation.
The US team assured AG Mohamoud of their government’s renewed commitment to justice, equality, and the rule of law.
Further, they also restated their belief in strengthening Somali courts and law enforcement systems.
