Hussein Sheikh, the Chief of Staff at Villa Somalia, has already arrived in Baidoa ahead of the scheduled visit by the new Somali President.
President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud is scheduled to visit Baidoa on Tuesday, May 31.
His Chief of Staff arrived ahead of him on Monday.
Mohamud is making his inaugural visit outside Mogadishu since taking over the leadership of the government and the entire country on May 15.
President Mohamud will be in Baidoa, the administrative capital of the Southwest state, to lead reconciliatory talks in the city.
He would then travel to Dhusamareb in Galmudug for a similar purpose.
Various leaders in Baidoa welcomed President Mohamud’s Chief of Staff.
