The Ministry of Health, in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) Somalia, has launched a week-long capacity-building workshop in Mogadishu.
The workshop, which got underway on Sunday, is for Somalia’s revitalized National Immunization Advisory Group (NITAG).
This program focuses on enhancing the group’s ability to shape policies and strategies related to immunization in the country.
NITAG plays a crucial role in advising on vaccine use, prioritizing immunization efforts, and ensuring that Somalia’s immunization policies are evidence-based and aligned with global health standards.
