The World Health Organization (WHO) has donated 39 tons of medical supplies to Somalia.
A delegation from the WHO in Somalia handed over the supplies to Dr. Ali Haji in Mogadishu on Saturday.
Dr. Haji is the federal Ministry of Health.
The handing-over ceremony took place at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu.
Both sides assured the public that the medical supplies would be useful in treating victims of the recent terror attack in K-5 Junction, Mogadishu.
The K-5 Junction terror attack took place last week October 29.
Thus far, it has claimed over 110 lives while leaving more than 300 others injured.
Mamunur Rahman Malik, the WHO Representative to Somalia, officially handed over the medical supplies to the health ministry officials.
